Went with THE Bobby Burns to see Avengers: Age of Ultron, and we were both… lightly underwhelmed. But we liked it overall, and there are several memorable moments.

  1. Thank goodness for bobvids to understand that some of Cinemasins' "jokes" are actual thoughts from Jeremy. I wonder if he paid any attention or is just biased.

  2. tf are you on about with the CG in the opening scene? It wasn't bad at all. I've watched it several times and have been pretty impressed by the CG

  3. They are increasing the threats by adding the skrulls which are basically shape-shifters that have become the avengers and are spies for an invasion

  4. Wasn't Ultron pissed at the world when he took a split second to look at the internet and see all the terrorism and shit happening around him, and since he's an logical thinking AI he decided that to cure humanity from war, that he had to destroy humanity or something?

  5. Scarlet Witch was connected to a fake country called Latvaria, so you were close. I believe it involved The Vision and Dr. Doom.
But anything involving T'Challa (Black Panther) is Wakanda.

  6. I love marvel and I'll continue to go see their movies, but after this Mihie, my expectations have been lowered slightly. I liked it, but I didn't love it. Really the only movies I really love that have more than fun action, and with a deep emotional anchor in the MCU are ironman 1, the first avengers, and the winter soldier. Every other movie ranges from okay to popcorn entertainment :/

  7. I hated this movie so much, which is tragedic because I wanted so, so so much to like it, Avengers 1 is great, Winter Soldier is fantastic, and this was just such a let down

  8. Has anyone seen NEXT AVENGERS was an animated Marvel Movie, which has Classic Ultron in it. as a Credible Threat. (i wont go into spoiler territory)

  9. *If you watched Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. it explained the context behind the Heli-carrier. Nick Fury and Phil Coulson and Maria Hill were all secretly working on it. Although I admit a film should be able to exist on its own (even though explaining this in the film would have felt…. dull).

  10. Honestly the thing that I disliked the most about the movie was the attempted romance between Natasha and Bruce
'Cause like, it had no built up whatsoever? In the previous movie they don't really get along and there is that obvious tension between Natasha and Clint and then BAM for some fucking reason Natasha is madly in live with Bruce???

ALSO it was completely unnecessary! It didn't serve the plot in any way! Why does a superhero movie need fucking romance, especially when it's SO FUCKING FORCED? I just didn't understand and I was v disappointed because I loved the first Avengers so much and ugh

  11. I'm going to be totally honest. I don't remember much from the Winter Soldier. I just remember I really liked it, though I don't care to see it again.

  12. With regards to the Hulkbuster, I think you're right. If Stark has suits that are just as good if not better than his standard suit, why does he use the normal one and not the better ones? However, on a related note, why the hell is Hulkbuser so slow and unwieldy while the hulk clearly has the speed and mobility advantage? Wouldn't it make more sense to make the Hulkbuster even SLIGHTLY more agile than a semi truck?
